Jackie Szczepanik

My interests include horses, books, cooking, researching and learning. I love horses and live on acreage with four who keep me busy, along with two large Labradoodles.

I have four children, whom I homeschooled through Year 12 – now all grown and flown; some with children of their own. I taught Kindergarten before the children came along.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary (K-8) Education from a U.S. university, a Graduate Diploma in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and a Graduate Certificate in Literacy. I am trained in Multisensory Structured Language and Reading Simplified. I am a certified Sounds-Write Practitioner.

I am passionate about reading education and believe that everyone should have access to reading instruction that works.
